It was February 2021 when Algeco and WiWell, co-sponsors of the Alpine World Ski Championships in Cortina d’Ampezzo, first met.
Over the past three and a half years, this mutual acquaintance has grown, expanded, and turned into a collaboration. With the aim of equipping Algeco’s modular units with a continuous air purification system, a long series of tests and exchanges of ideas were carried out until the ideal product was identified. The selected, standardized product fits all Algeco modules, making installation as simple as possible.

We are therefore proud to announce the Algeco Purifying System, the adhesive film made by WiWell to ensure the safety of Algeco modular environments.
Objectives
The shared objective of both companies is the gradual implementation of WiWell products, initially in the modules located in Italy (approximately twenty thousand), and subsequently expanding the procedure to the approximately 300,000 Algeco modules present worldwide. In this way, all Algeco structures will be equipped with WiWell photocatalytic films and will be internally “self-sanitizing” without any energy consumption.
